Country Madness is the annual Youth and Young Adult camp for the Central Queensland region of the Uniting Church in Australia. Plus friends who journey down from North Queensland.
WE’RE BACK FOR COUNTRY MADNESS 2020 IN A NEW PLACE! Come and join the Madness!
If you live Central Queensland or North Queensland and are able to reach Kinchant Dam (Eton), are involved with the Uniting Church in Australia, and you’re somewhere between year 7 in school and 25 years of age, Country Madness exists for you.
Christian youth and youth adults around country Queensland are way too isolated. This is so our teens and young adults can get together, get to know each other, have fun, and also get serious about God together. Wonderful things have been happening at our Madneses, and we’re sure great things will continue.
Country Madness 2020 is happening at Kinchant Outdoor Education Centre, just down the track from Kinchant Dam, near Eton. Registration has been set at a low $80 per person, or $50 per person where there is more than one coming from that family. Rego is low so everyone can join the Madness.
Uniting Church in Australia?
Between year 7 at school and 25 years of age?
Live in Central Qld or North Qld?
Country Madness starts low key on Friday evening 1st May because travelers from afar may still be on their way; but from Saturday morning 2nd May to lunchtime Monday the 4th, the Madness happens.

For those who want organisational facts
Country Madness is being hosted as an activity of Central Queensland Presbytery Youth Task Group, on behalf of the wider Uniting Church. It is being overseen by Central Queensland Presbytery. All leaders will have done the appropriate child-safe training, and all aspects of camp will have been approved by CQ Presbytery and the Synod Child Safety team. Leaders will come from across country Queensland Uniting Church. Two staff members from Kinchant OEC will lead activities on the Saturday afternoon.
