Okay, so Country Madness fever has hit you and you can’t think of anything else, you can’t sleep in anticipation of the day that Country Madness arrives. But what should I do? Here are our handy hints on steps to follow. Follow these and you can’t go wrong.
NOTE: Step one is for campers who are anticipating The Madness. It is also for parents anticipating the madness going away for a weekend. Get over it guys 🙂
ANOTHER NOTE: the other steps are for campers or parents, depending on who has to do the registering, who has an email address, and who has a Facebook account.
- Get some sleep. Settle down and value each day as a gift from God. Country Madness will come, and there’s no reason to be sleep deprived because of it.
- Register on this website. You’ll see the link in the top menu.
- Join the mailing list. At the top of the side panel you’ll see a place to enter your email address and submit it. Do that and – SHAZAM! – you’ll get mailed when information becomes available. More than one person can join the list to stay informed.
- [If you’re a Facebook user] Like our Facebook page (Click Like on this website’s side panel). You may need to have Facebook open for this to work. Liking our page is a friendly thing to do because it makes us feel happy and loved. But it will also help us with step 5.
- [If you’re a Facebook user] We would love for you to be in the Country Madness closed Facebook group. There are a few ways to get there …
- A friend who is already in the group can invite you, so ask one; or
- friend someone who is already in the group and then ask them to invite you; or
- Contact us (top menu on this website), and request that we invite you into the group. We will invite the person we recognise as having liked our page in step 4. We will probably have to friend you in order to issue the invitation – if that troubles you, pursue the previous 2 methods.
- Pay the appropriate registration fee(s) for those coming from your family. The option is under “Registration” on this website menu.
- Tell all your church friends that you’re going to Country Madness, and if they’re between year 7 at school and 25 years of age, encourage them to come as well.
I think that’s it … settle down, rego, mailing list, Facebook, pay, advertise … yep, that’s it for now.
Blessings from THE MADNESS TEAM!
