You know the #1 thing we’ll be doing? Getting together! This is a huge thing in the country. Imagine the value of young people from all of our far-flung places actually getting together in one place.
The whole thing has GOD written all over it, and that certainly is one thing we will be doing. We’ll have an excellent band with which we will worship God in song, we will spend time talking about God and life, and other important stuff.
This campsite has loads of land, and activities, and offers loads of opportunities for Madness. There will naturally be loads of food.
Our guest speaker is John Fredericks. While John teaches New Testament at our Uniting Church Queensland theological college, he is a great communicator to all ages and understanding. So it will be possible to ask him the really hard questions, but he’ll be great at explaining basic things as well. It is clear John wants to people to really connect with God, not just learn stuff. We’re so excited that John is joining us on CM2020!
We will make friends and get to know each other. Through the serious and thought provoking, through the crazy and the challenging, Country Madness 2017 will be a camp to remember for a long time.
